In 2020, FAMS Call Center, its services, and partnerships were transformed from a traditional networking model into a collaborative and dynamic mobility management model rebranded as the Regional Transportation Collaborative (RTC).
The RTC, managed through the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission, is a complex cooperative partnership of various community stakeholders, transportation programs, and service agencies dedicated to improving mobility for aging adults and individuals with disabilities by creating, impacting, and supporting transportation options that benefit the community as a whole.
